A bit of fun while on the road. I had to ask a random member of the public to walk past a few times to give the image something extra.
A last minute calender shoot for the Nissan Racing Team, shot in 2013 I think.
Waiting to shoot a dusk external a few months back so I played around a bit while I was waiting for the right light. Something that I am learning more recently is to always try and capture something for yourself while working for someone else.

A shoot for Lend Lease back in 2012 for Axiom Photography. It was a challenge to shoot on the docks as the long time exposure meant that the boats all moved. There was a lot of blending via layer masks to ensure nothing was blury.

A shoot for Signature Bricks. Multiple locations displaying their product.
A detail shot I am quite fond of. The abundance of natural light gives the building a bright and airy feel. The client wanted detail in the windows but I thought it detracted from the image. Sometimes it is a matter of knowing when to convince a client that what they wanted is not necessarily what will deliver the best final product.

This was a campaign shot for a real estate company. They were after 'lifestyle' overlay shots for their advertising. All shot with available light. Another job for Axiom Photography.
An image taken for a real estate job. The client needs a vertical detail shot for their advertising. I am really happy with the result.

I had taken this shot on my phone and a few people had asked if I had a high res version. So the next time I returned to the building to shoot some more portraits, I took one. This is about 5 exposures manually blended into one using layer masks.

Reflections in the country

A perfect day in the country for some photos. Processed in Lightroom 5. I have always been a Capture One user, however I think I have a new favourite program for RAW processing.

Painting with light

I captured this several weeks ago after first attempting a similar shot with a long time exposure with low iso and wide aperture. The exposure was an hour long and it didn't record anything. In the above photo, the settings were f4/30 seconds @ 2500iso. I painted the foreground with the torch app on my iphone.
